Gift Guide for Kids with Giveaway

Disclosure: I received complimentary products or a discount code to use towards the purchase of them. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

My house has had children in it since the late 1980s. 3 of my 4 are grown now, and the last one is almost grown. Fortunately though, I now have grandchildren. FOUR of them. So, I still get to play Santa and gift toys and games during the holiday season. This year, I've selected the following items for gifting, all tested, tried and true.

1. Bizzyboo Stocking Bag by Vango Toys.
This heavy-duty sealed stocking holds 30 holiday-themed items, each of which is listed on an attached placard, that the little ones need to find. There are other holiday designs too, all of them cute as can be, but this smiling stocking is my favorite. This is a great toy to bring along on long car rides or plane trips home to see grandma for the holidays (or whatever other traveling/driving you might be doing). They're also fun to use if you're just sitting at home on the couch, or winding down before bedtime. Ages 2+

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet's Water Adventue is a 3pc Playmobil set for children ages 1-4. If you have had Playmobil before, you already know about it's outstanding quality. These chunky sturdy pieces are intentionally designed to be easy (and safe) for the very young children to play with, and who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. Safe for water use so wouldn't this be fun in the bathtub? Includes log with raft, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet characters. Ages 1+

3. 50th Anniversary Toy Figure (Knight and Horse) by Playmobil
Playmobil is turning 50 and to help them celebrate they have created this 15 pc. set for children. Imagine the gallant knight galloping across your dining room table on his trust steed, raising his flag in full victory! That is the type of fun you will be having with this adorable commemorative set. It does have some smaller pieces, so it's not for infants, but it's good for school-aged children and beyond. Ages 5+

The Tree Mendous (by HBHP -Hey Buddy Hey Pal) ornament decoration kit has been a favorite of mine since it was first released. Two of my most cherished treasures on the Christmas Tree are ones my now-teen made when he was much younger, using his Tree Mendous machine. It's super easy to use. Just place the ornament in the spinner and turn it on. Pick up an included marker and touch it to the spinning ornament to get the design you'd like. It is so easy to use, and so precious for the kids to be able to make their own ornaments. Now with a new accessory pack that comes with three quick-drying markers, adhesive jewels, glitter snowflakes, and foam letters and numbers for even more holiday fun! Made for ages 3+
