Holiday Gift Guide for Cats

I only have 4 items on my Holiday Gift Guide for Cats this year, but they are SO GOOD! All favorites, and all for different reasons, and if you have a feline family member, I think you might love them too!

1. The first item is a PetSafe Cat Litter Mat. Having this in the house is going to give me so much joy. We had a mishap where the accordion laundry room door fell off (😕) and landed on top of the cat litter box and broke it. Thank goodness the cat wasn't anywhere near it. 2. CatLadyBox is a subscription service that is for cats and cat-lovers!! Each box includes items for you and toys for your furry friend. There are so many unique cat items, like paw-print pens, cat paw oven mitts, and the most adorable t-shirts, that you can't find anywhere else. And if you get the subsription that includes the toys, there's something for your cat every month as well. 

It's nice to have a CatLadyBox show up at the door each month, and wouldn't the cat-lover you know want to receive one too? Subscription boxes are nice because they last longer than just the moment.

Each month has a theme, this month's being "Bad Cats." My girl has her moments (walking on my keyboard when I'm trying to type...ahem, but for the most part, she's a super chill, good girl, so I turned the sleeping mat over to the "This Cat is Nice" side. 😸

3. PetSafe has created a pet fountain that runs without a pump. That means there is no messy clean-up, no grime-prevention needed, and pump malfunctions are a thing of the past (because there isn't one). So if your cat (or dog) loves running water, this is going to be such a good gift to buy for them. The one I have is 128 oz but they come in smaller sizes as well.

No more sitting water means a happy cat or dog. A happy cat or dog makes for a happy you. One thing I've noticed too, is this fountain keeps the loose cat hairs from floating around in the water. That in itself is a huge win!

Last but not least...this is my favorite cat litter box OF ALL TIME! The Moderna "Cats in Love" Hooded Pan is EVERYTHING. When we first adopted our cat years ago, this was the box we purchased. When the laundry room door fell off (see beginning of post) our box was crushed (again, thank goodness the cat was nowhere near it). I purchased a cheap, small litter box with a hood to replace it and thought it was no big deal. A litter box is a litter box, right? Wrong!!

Okay, listen!! The Moderna Hooded Pan litter box was more awesome than I knew. When I originally purchased it, it was because of how it looked. I mean, look at it, it's so cute!! We scoop twice a day, but it was never a problem if we had to miss once because the litter never smelled. When we replaced it with the smaller box we purchased everything changed and even with a lid, the smell when we got home from work was just nauseating. The only thing that had changed was the box.

So... to say I am happy to have this cat litter box back in the house is an understatement and then some. Not only is it the cutest litter box I have ever seen, it is also a very effective one. The large, flat pan gives the cat plenty of room to do her business. The lid gives her privacy. The design makes everyone who sees it, say, 'aww!' 

In addition to all of the awesomeness stated, please know that the lid locks onto the pan so there are no spills and it has a convenient and sturdy handle on the top for portability.

So whether you are gifting someone in the house a cat for Christmas, spoiling the cat you have, or gifting a cat-lover, this cat litter box, which is affordable and amazing, is a wonderful gift idea. I highly recommend. This is the only litter box I ever want to own.
