Celebrate National Ornament Day with Old World Christmas:
Nominate Your City for the Largest Ornament Swap!
The holiday season is just around the corner, and Old World Christmas® is spreading joy in a BIG way! In celebration of National Ornament Day and their 45th anniversary, the premier brand of Christmas ornaments is embarking on a festive mission to find the perfect city to host their Largest Ornament Swap!
Imagine over those in your town gathering together to celebrate, playing holiday-themed games, and swapping beautifully handcrafted Old World Christmas ornaments—until each participant leaves with an exquisite artisanal keepsake for their tree. That’s exactly what’s happening, and the best part? Your city could be the one to host this magical event!
Old World Christmas is calling on cities and towns across the country to showcase their holiday pride. Whether your city goes all out with dazzling light displays or embraces charming traditions, now’s your chance to show off your community spirit! From September 25 through October 6, 2024, you can nominate your city by uploading a photo or video that captures the heart of your city’s holiday magic.
“We’ve spent 45 wonderful years becoming part of people’s holiday traditions, and now, it’s time to give back,” said Neal Applefeld, President & CEO of Old World Christmas. “We could easily choose a city, but we want our fans to show us their holiday pride and help us decide where the Largest Ornament Swap should take place!”
Once the nominations are in, the top 5 cities will go head-to-head in a vote on Old World Christmas’ Instagram and Facebook pages. The city with the most votes will host the event in November, kicking off the holiday season in style!
Old World Christmas has a wide range of over 1,600 stunning ornaments to choose from, whether you love timeless classics or quirky, modern designs. Don’t miss this chance to help bring the holiday spirit to your town in a way that only Old World Christmas can!
