As it settles on the skin, the rum becomes a little more prominent, which is fine by me. It's almost sultry in nature, definitely worthy of a long, shimmery dress or a tuxedo (because it is also perfectly unisex). The base is a beautifully balanced blend of vanilla and oak, enhanced by the resinous depth of labdanum and a subtle dab of high quality musk. This combination leaves a lasting impression that’s both darkly sweet (not sugary sweet) and entirely captivating.

ReplyDeleteYou've got me thinking. It's not tropical in the sense of coconut/flowery typical tropical but it could be the boozy rum and rich vanilla could make it tropical in a more sophisticated kind of way. Not swimsuits on the beach, but definitely sundresses on a yacht.
