Disclosure: I was provided a prescreening of the movie before it aired in theaters. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.
This was one of those movies that started off just a tad bit slow but then got so gripping I could not stop watching it, and of course by the end, I was crying like a baby. Being able to identify with the characters will be easy, even if like me, you can't hold a note or carry a tune.
The overall theme of the movie is love; the love of a family, and how with the right support and faith foundation, you can get through and rise above difficult circumstances.
If you love the band For King + Country (they created the movie), Rebecca St. James (their sister), or you enjoy seeing a high-quality family film, I encourage you to go see this one, in theaters April 26th!
Synopsis: When David Smallbone's successful music company collapses, he moves his family from Australia to the United States in search of a brighter future. With nothing more than their six children, their suitcases, and their love of music, David (for KING + COUNTRY's Joel Smallbone) and his pregnant wife Helen (Daisy Betts) set out to rebuild their lives from the ground up. Based on a remarkable true story, a mum's faith stands against all odds; and inspires her husband and children to hold onto to theirs.
