$10 Amazon Gift Code Giveaway: New Movie Forty-Seven Days with Jesus in Theaters Tomorrow (3 days only!)
When you get too involved outside of things that really matter, they can take over your life. Is that big deal at work really worth missing the last family gathering everyone has together before your dad passes away? And even though you do have your family's best interest at heart, including your dad's, will that deal matter more than that last visit would? Sometimes it's good to put things into perspective. Everything that seems of dire importance, doesn't always earn that priority status.
Forty-Seven Days with Jesus is in Theaters March 11, 12, and 14th ONLY!
Forty-Seven Days with Jesus takes us on the journey of a family who loves each other, but as with all families, has had its share of struggles, including the current one where the father is in critical stages of cancer, and his son is too busy working to see the importance of the family all spending time together (as a priority over work). As things progress, we learn his father was pretty much the same, and when his dad decided to turn things around and put his family first, he started writing in a notebook about Jesus' last 47 days on Earth.
His dad starts to read the story to his grandchildren bit by bit, each night that they are there, sometimes asking his son to take over. As everyone plans for a day out on the family boat, the patriarch's pride and joy, Daniel opts to stay home and taking a meeting online that he couldn't get out of, while he is waiting he sees that his wife has taken off her wedding rings.
He ends his meeting early, heads to the water and begins to remember that the people he loves are more important than immersing himself in things that take him away from them. It's not an easy for him and his wife to find their way back to what matters most, but sometimes the things worth fighting for in life, prove to be challenging.
Forty-Seven Days with Jesus has a storyline that all of us can relate to in one way or another. It is worth seeing.
Clever idea for a story. And can you imagine just one day with Jesus? Well, one day we'll have eternity...

ReplyDeleteI plan on seeing this with my family.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a movie all families should watch. Sometimes it takes something as tragic as the passing of a loved one to realize work isn't everything. Prioritizing family should always be the goal.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this info. I had not heard of this one.
