I had never heard of lemonade apples until I visited my aunt's farm. She told me they were a new variety of apples that had a sweet and tangy flavor, like lemonade. She offered me one and I took a bite. It was juicy and refreshing, and I loved it. She gave me a basket of them and I thanked her. I decided to make some lemonade apple pie when I got home.
I'm going to assume its because of the colour...are they tart like Granny Smith? Reminds me of the Cottoncandy grapes I'll come across once in a while...they are sooo sweet!
Makes you wonder what they do to them...
ReplyDeleteNever heard of them. At least we know that they don't taste like lemonade.
