Wordless Wednesday: Avon Perfume Help?

My grandmother wore a perfume from Avon years ago, and I've been looking for a bottle foooorever. Of course, I can't remember the name of it, and Avon made so many. I've even contacted the company, to no avail. I scour for-sale websites every now and again to see if I can find it. This purple bottle here, is the closest I've come, though my grandma's bottle was shorter, more round and a tad darker shade of purple (with white flecks like this one). She wore it only once in awhile, but I still remember the scent so clearly.

If this picture nudges a memory from someone who might know the name of the fragrance I've been searching for, I'd be much appreciative!! Even if it doesn't smell the same anymore, I'd love to have the bottle as a keepsake.

    1. Right! There were so many different kinds of door-to-door salesmen back in the day. I think the only one we let in was the insurance guy once we signed with him. :)

  7. I've never heard of that one before. It is too bad that you can't take a photo of it or find a photo and do a reverse photo search on the internet. Good luck!

    1. Thanks, Marysa. I've tried the reverse photo but was thinking of taking the background bottles out to see if that helps the search.

    1. Agreed. I'd rather have the fragrance (if it hasn't turned) but I'd be happy with just the bottle.

  16. Maybe this digital archive might help with finding the product? I tried to see if I could but there are soooo many pages but if you know a bit more of the specifics maybe the filter could get narrowed down! https://digital.hagley.org/avon Hope it helps!

    1. Yes, it does and that's true whether it's a Christmas Tree, food, fragrance, even laundry detergent can hold powerful memories, lol. When I smell Persil I think of Prague, every single time. It smells just like the detergent our hotel used to wash our laundry.
