We have people who do this at my office. It isn't because people are thieves. It's because we often put food leftover from company events in the fridge, and it's fair game for anyone. If your food doesn't have a name written on it, someone may accidentally eat it.
Lol this is so funny, and I know Kevin is pissed. This is why at my last corporate jobs, for as long as our lunch was covered in expenses, I rarely bought lunch to leave in the refrigerator for this exact reason. Some people just don't care.
It's wild to me that people will just take things but the only time I managed to self-soothe when it has happened is just sitting with the thought that maybe they needed it more.
while i didn't have it happen at work, i know my son has mentioned it happening with him in his dorm room (likewise my husband when he shared an apartment with roommates ages ago!!).. Sometimes, i am tempted to put my name on my share of dessert in our home
Bwahahahahahaha. I've had more than one person eat my food at work.
