Every time we go to the airport we hear regular announcements on the intercom warning about child trafficking. I'm always a bit taken aback. Is it that prevalent that they have to keep announcing it? It's unnerving to me. And it's ugly to look at... but if it's not looked at and brought to light, won't it just continue? God bless those who step up to do their part to help. Nothing is more precious than a child.
Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death. #SoundOfFreedomMIN
Not a movie I have heard of - and sadly a truth in too many places.
ReplyDeleteThe most vile and largest slavery in the world. Just sick.
ReplyDeleteIt's heartbreaking to think that this is so prevalent not only in this country, but across the globe. I see the posters for help every time I use a rest stop bathroom and it makes me sad to think that this is such an issue that notices have to be put on bathroom stalls.
