Use Halos to make edible holiday crafts!

Disclosure: I received samples. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Halos are my jam. I like to have them at home because they are easy to peel and they taste delicious. I like to take them to work because I teach and the kids always want something to eat. Better to give them something good for them, than to overload them with sugary treats...and they love them! So...this year for Christmas, what's a better gift for the classroom than a tree made of Wonderful Halos? Talk about bringing something that will get them excited. My strategy...make the tree, put it on my desk and count the time until someone asks if they can have one. Pretty positive that even 5 minutes won't pass before I get the request, lol.

This would be a great centerpiece to bring to a Christmas party, New Year's celebration, or to have on the table just because. It's simple to create and gets a lot of ooh's and ahhs. Make it yourself, or have a group help you out. It's fun, delicious, healthy and a great way to spend time together.

You can find instructions to make this mandarin tree on the Halos website.

Making name placeholders is a cute idea too, even better if the trees made out of Halos are on the table as well. We like our crafts to be simple and cute. They're even better if you can eat them, lol. Maybe that's the teacher in me coming out, but honestly, who doesn't love a sweet mandarin orange? And no one does mandarins better than Halos.

  7. I never thought to make a little Halo tree. How fun is that?! My mom had a huge bowl of Halos on her dining room table this year and I reached for those instead of pie. They are just too delicious to resist!
