Snacks on the Go are Easy with Whiskware

So pretty, I had to frame them. πŸ˜‰

Ok, I already know this gift is going to be a big deal to my granddaughter, when she pulls it out of her Christmas stocking. She loves to take snacks on the go, and this tri-cup holder from Whiskware is going to let her do so with a cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse design on it.

I love to stuff the stockings. It has always been a big deal for me, and I have always made sure the kids got one every year, even after they were grown. I started to do stockings again this year, per usual, but this year isn't typical. The grown kids have families of their own, and my youngest will be in Michigan moving forward for all holidays.

Now don't get me wrong, the changes are not bad (in fact, for my youngest they are very good!) but they create a new dynamic we have to work around. This is the first time in 15 years I won't have my youngest with me for Christmas. He and I celebrated early, and then we'll have our whole family-get-together when he gets back (in the new year), but it still feels fragmented. Trial-and-error, and all that. We'll get it down pat, like we always do when challenges arise, but the holidays feel different this year for me. I'm still happy, and love to decorate but the one thing I decided to do on a whim, was pass the baton of stuffing stockings on to my daughter. She has two toddlers who love πŸ’žthem, so I gave her my beloved stocking rack (you can see it in the background). And it felt right.

I guess I'm at that age where traditions are okay to pass on to the next generation of 'kids' so they can enjoy them with their own little families. We'll still have our big family get-together, but a new chapter is opening for all of us, for a whole host of reasons, and that's okay.

One thing I want to do with the family early in the new year, is take a trip to Disney. My 3 grown kids all have March birthdays, so I was thinking that would be the perfect time to go. You can bet the grandbabes (and I have 4 of them!) will all be bringing along their own snacks. They don't like to wait in the big Disney lines to eat when they get hungry, and with the Whiskware Snacking Containers, that problem is solved.

They can put up to 3 different snacks in each cup, and then screw them all together so they don't get lost. Then they can tuck them right next to where they are sitting (on their strollers or in their wagons, depending on what their parents decide to do). Each separate compartment twists and locks so there are no spills or messes.

They're good for daily use too. You can take them to the park, the grocery store, school, etc. In fact, they are the perfect size to tuck right into a lunch box. Think of all the plastic bags you'll save using these instead. These are BPA & phthalate-free.

All of my other grandbabes have one of these to call their own, now my youngest granddaughter will have one too. I'm guessing when she reaches into her stocking and pulls this Whiskware snack container out, it's going to be magical. Everything is magical at her age, which is just fine by me. πŸ’–

  11. I wish I had these when my girls were little. I remember we'd have to buy little Tupperware containers filled with Kix cereal every time we left the house. They certainly weren't this cute!
