My Favorite Perfume for Fall

It is officially fall and for many, that means a fragrance change. While I am not one to specifically say, 'this is my tray of fragrances for fall,' and stay away from anything else, I do recognize that some scents work better in cooler weather. Pinrose's Campfire Rebel is one of those fragrances. This warm and woody scent opens with top notes of whiskey and a hint of raspberry. In the mid, you get burning oud wood and guiacwood. The dry down settles in with a luxe bourbon vanilla and some vetiver.
This is a rich roasted flavor that makes you want to grab your sweater and your boots. I like it a lot. I don't smell all of the notes, and that's pretty common. Scents affect different people in various ways. What I get is the whiskey and the wood, with just a whisp of raspberry cutting through to soften the edges.

This was a big surprise for me, because I usually like lighter scents (think orange blossoms, marshmallows, etc,) and this is definitely not that... it's not too heavy though either. As some of you might remember, I have to be very careful with my love of fragrances because I have a teen who has a selective nose (allergies). All Pinrose fragrances are clean, and none of the ones I have tried from this fabulous brand, and there have been many, bother him in the least. Hurray!

Such a perfect and unusual scent for fall!

Along the same lines, it's good to share that Pinrose is deliberate in taking care to make the best product they can while being completely vegan and cruelty-free. They make a wonderful line of fragrances and this one joins the ranks of my other favorite, which is also a good fall scent: Secret Genius.

While the Secret Genius from Pinrose is typical of what I like (it's a sweet caramel and Madagascar vanilla perfume), the Campfire Rebel runs a different type of fall appeal. This one is for the girl who likes to dress in sweaters, likes to grab a hot pumpkin latte on her way to the pumpkin patch, enjoys getting her hands in the pumpkin goo while preparing to carve it, and wants to get lost in the corn maze. It's for the girl who likes to be outside, and who isn't averse to grabbing a seat with her friends at night, preferably outside by the bonfire.

I enjoy Campfire Rebel and am very happy to have it in my fragrance collection. This will be one I reach for time and time again, and it's absolutely perfect for ushering in the cooler days and nights of autumn.
