Almost Wordless Wednesday: The Roman Forum in (where else?) Rome

As if the Colosseum wasn't spectacular enough, we rounded the corner and landed smack dab in the middle of the Roman Forum. 

So many things no longer standing, but so many things that were. And I was (and still am) in awe.

This photo does not do it justice. This area was spectacular.

    That is a beautiful photo of the Colosseum. I was there many years ago in the 1990s. I would love to go back again for another visit.

    I remember the same feeling! So much history, so much that isn't there, but it was there. I loved Rome when I was there about 15 years ago. Such a neat city.

    This past week I've been seeing a lot of video clips and pictures of people visiting Rome and I have to say that every landmark and scene is so breathtaking- I bet none of them do any of it justice and I suppose I'll just have to see for myself!! LOL!
    As for how I'm doing, aside from a stomach bug and a few failed attempts at having my blood drawn- pretty good! I hope you're well!
