(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: London, England

International Travel, to me, is not just an experience, it is an investment.

This is not the best picture of Westminster Abbey you will find (not by a long shot) but this post is more about a mood than a photo. This was taken in London quite a few years ago but London is still a place that holds great memories for me, and definitely a destination to where I would love to return.

Going through some of my old travel photos today is giving me all the (vacation) feels.

Everything I came across as a new visitor captured my attention. Even the transportation was exciting (the double decker bus and black cabs are classic!).  There are so many other areas and things I would still love to see in this wonder of a city, and you can bet, if I am fortunate enough to return, that a ride on one of these busses (or the new busses since readers are telling me these are no longer on the road), and a return visit to Westminster Abbey is bound to be on the agenda.

London isn't the only place I want to go. My bucket list is pretty extensive. Like many, travel is one of those things that just makes me happy.

    1. Ah, glad I got to see them. Someone said the red phone booths are becoming non-existent too. Glad I got pics of those. It's the little things, sometimes, right? :) Thanks for the news.

  7. Hi Rosey - yes it's an amazing city ... so we welcome everyone - so much to explore, see and learn ... excellent photos you've given us ... I used to love the old buses, where one could jump on and off the bus at will - at least I could quite often get nearer to my destination! Lots of places I'd love to visit - I've never been to the east and especially down under - not sure I'll make it - but who knows - cheers Hilary
