This is a Florida Snowman: Unique Snow-mandarins Craft Idea from Halos

Disclosure: I received a free product(s) or a discount code to use towards a purchase from @halosfun

Wonderful Halos mandarins – the sweet, seedless, easy-to-peel snack with added benefits of vitamin C for the winter months recommended a DIY Wonderful Halos Snowman-darin craft. and we decided to give it a try! After all, in Florida, the only snowmen we are going to see this year, are the ones we made with these delicious mandarins (I'm not sad about that!) and the best part is that after we were done, we got to eat them (I wasn't sad about that either). 😍

Create your very own snowman-darin, just in time for the holidays. With its vibrant pop of color, this craft makes for the cutest holiday decoration and your kids will love making it! You can use any supplies that you come across. I put these on the table and let the students in my classroom decide what they wanted to make.

Here the supplies are, spread out... there's scissors, glue, paint, crayons, carrots, cardboard tubes, cloves, stickers, little sticks for arms, black paper, etc.

And of course, the most important thing, is the mandarins. We use Wonderful Halos because they're so easy to peel and they taste delicious.

We pulled some desks together during lunch and I gave the kids free reign to make these however they'd like.

This was the grand finale reveal of what the kiddos made. They were so delighted with their little crafts and because I think every child who participated is amazing, I'd never be able to pick a favorite if they asked. Just between you and me though, I think I am a little partial to the leaning orange who looks like she's caroling. How clever to use the stem for the mouth, lolol. A couple of little puffs on the yarn and you could even make it look like she was wearing earmuffs.

You can make this craft too, go pick up some Wonderful Halos mandarins and see what you have sitting around that would work to fancy them up. This would make a unique/fun craft idea to do if you have a house full of kids for Christmas, or even if you're just spending some time crafting on the weekend. Hope you enjoy the activity as much as we did! ⛄

  12. In Florida they need a bit-o-winter too. How fun. You could also buy the indoor snowballs. You and your son would have fun with them.
