When was the last time you grabbed a group of friends and booked a holiday together? Most people don't get a chance to do that very much in life and if you’re one of them, there is no better time than now to get planning. We won’t tell you to book it because the pandemic is kind of changing the way that we do things right now. However, there’s nothing stopping you from planning your group holiday with all of your best friends, right?
Group travel often doesn't get the love that it deserves, and the best thing that you can do is start looking at how you can ensure that you and your friends have an epic time. From heading out to take on Egypt tours or going skiing in Italy, you are in control here and you can choose somewhere that you all want to see. There are so many benefits to traveling as a group, and we’ve got some of the best of them below.
- 1. Planning is so much easier. When you have five people planning a holiday, it’s so much simpler than trying to do it all yourself, not to mention that you can find plenty of companies out there who will help you with it. Group travel doesn't have to be as difficult as its reputation. In fact, you can ensure that it’s one of the easiest things that you do! You can get someone to plan it for you if you like!
- 2. You can experience new things with people you know and trust. Going on holiday with your friends allows you to go and experience some of the best things in the world, and you do it all with the best people you know. There’s nothing quite like the first time you go to a surfing lesson being with people who know and love you,and there is often nothing better than eating oysters for the first time in a water restaurant than with your besties.
- 3. You’re going to bond. No matter how close you think you are to your mates, there will always be moments that allow you to bond together even more, and a holiday is one of them! Traveling in a group can be so much more fun than traveling alone!
- 4. You will add to your pack. Traveling as a group tends to attract other social beings and you’ll make so many new friends while you’re all out together. You know, though, that the people you’re with are going to keep you safe and ensure you are in one piece at the end of the day.
- 5. You are going to gain so many new perspectives! When you travel with your best friends, you’re going to gain some new opinions and perspectives that you might not have considered before. You’re going to meet people that you wouldn't have normally met and that’s so important. You’ll see the world through different eyes and by the end of the trip, the memories you make will be unforgettable!
And it's much safer too. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week, my friend. ♥
I agree... as much as I'd enjoy a trip to Paris alone, so I could spend all day in the Louvre without being grouched at, lol, I'd not want to go solo for safety reasons.
DeleteWE have started taking bus trips for older people. It is great. No thinking, planning, just meeting and greeting bus-mates.
ReplyDeleteI think the bus trips are a great idea! Easy peasy and still just as fun.
DeleteSounds like a plan to be near people that want to go to the same places as you do. My sister wanted us to all go to Disney World. I said, "Nope." Not a fan. I think I'd dislike her more, and I feel like Disney has enough money. They don't need mine too. LOL
ReplyDeleteGood on those who can group travel, but it's not something that I want to do. We've had friends want to vacation with us before but I just can't go off another couple's itinerary. I like to make my own and see what I want to see and not get held back by what someone else wants to do instead. Though I do agree it's much safer and once we are able to travel again, we'll probably do group travel in the Asian and South American countries as I feel it would be safer to travel those areas in numbers.
