Love cakes, but don't have the time to spend hours in the kitchen trying to figure out a specific recipe? Here are some quick and easy recipes that will satisfy your cravings!

This post has a list of yummy cake recipes you should definitely try out. These recipes range from birthday cakes to chocolate desserts.

Plum Cakes

These are not your average plum cakes; they're fantastic! They're moist and fluffy with a delicious almond flavor. And the buttercream frosting is just amazing, and it complements the cake perfectly.

The ingredients are simple and easy to find as well as they don't take long to make. Ingredients for the cakes include one cup of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, four teaspoons of baking powder, three-quarters of a cup of sugar, three eggs, half a teaspoon almond extract, and one-and-a-half cups milk.

To make the cakes, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a nine-inch round baking pan; set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder, add the sugar, and set aside.

In another bowl, beat the eggs with an electric mixer for about two minutes or until they are pale yellow, then add the almond extract and the milk. Combine the wet ingredients with dry ingredients, mix until combined, then pour into your baking pan. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Let it cool, then frost with your favorite buttercream icing.

Carrot Cake

This is an easy cake to make, and it's so good. To make carrot cake from scratch, you only need the following ingredients: eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, flour, baking powder, salt, yogurt or sour cream, and of course, carrots.

Start by beating the eggs with the sugar until they are white and fluffy. Then add in oil a little at a time and mix well. Next, in a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet ones in two additions alternating with yogurt or sour cream until you get a smooth batter.

On parchment paper on a baking tray, pour the batter and spread it to form an oblong shape, about 12 inches long. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting with cream cheese icing (mix some softened butter with well-beaten cream cheese and powdered sugar).

Vanilla Cake Recipe

The vanilla cake recipe is a straightforward one. It has just five ingredients and can be ready in no time. First, you'll need some flour, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla extract. The last ingredient is butter, which you have to melt before use.

The first step of the process would be mixing up all of your dry ingredients in a bowl. Then, you should add the butter and vanilla extract to your mixture as well as some milk (the amount depends on how much flour you've added). Keep stirring until your mixture looks smooth. To bake the perfect vanilla cake, you must put it in a baking dish and the oven for about 30 minutes. Top it with vanilla frosting and enjoy!

Strawberry Cake

This strawberry cake recipe is very easy to follow. It uses everyday ingredients which you can find in your kitchen cupboard, and the cooking process will take less than an hour. The first thing you need to do is preheat the oven and grease a baking tray. Then mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Then beat the eggs, add vanilla extract and milk to them along with some salt.

Mix all dry ingredients into an egg mixture until you have a smooth batter. Add in chopped strawberries and mix well. Pour the mixture into a baking tray and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown, or if you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean. Then let the cake cool down for 20 minutes before serving with cream or ice cream.

Pineapple Cake

This cake is fantastic; it takes only 20 minutes to make and tastes good. You can serve it with a scoop of ice cream and some fruit on top. To bake this cake, you will need some butter, sugar, eggs, and pineapple.

In addition, you can add some vanilla extract for more flavor! The first step is to mix the butter and sugar, then add an egg until well combined. Next, you will need to pour in your crushed pineapple and stir it. Next, you can sprinkle some flour and baking powder into your mixture and fold through, don't over mix as you will end up with a tough cake. Finally, pour your batter into a cupcake or muffin tin and bake for around 15 minutes, until golden brown.

With these easy, yummy cake recipes, you will never get bored of baking. Instead, try to experiment with the ingredients and see what different cakes you can come up with.
