Puzzled About What to get Dad for Father's Day? with Giveaway

I used to put puzzles together with my grandma when I was a kid, one of our favorites being a farm scene, so seeing a field full of white cows with big, black patches on them yesterday reminded me of that time (same cows that were on the puzzle, and a type I haven't seen for years). The drive I saw them on was peaceful. It was to my daughter's new place (which is really nice!), but something about those cows hit home for me. So much so that I wanted to pull over and take a picture. I didn't because it was a very rural, soft-shoulder area, but it was still a thought... a thought that left me thinking about my gram, the woman who was always so happy to give me her time, and the puzzles we'd put together, games we'd play, etc. I know there are a lot of dads who like to spend time with their kids too, and a puzzle is a good way to do that at home. eeBoo offers a variety of puzzles that would make wonderful gift ideas for Father's Day (which is coming up very soon).

This Venice Open Market puzzle is 1,000 pieces, which ensures a good amount of time will be needed to put it together. Once its built it measures 23" x 23" and it surely is a good idea for the dad who loves to travel. I have one grown son who has been to Italy, and I've been as well, but neither of us has ever been to Venice. It's still one of the few places left on my bucket list (my list used to be so long, but now there's only honestly a few places left abroad that I'd like to see). My favorite thing about these puzzles from eeBoo is that they are the big, glossy pieces so there is hardly any puzzle dust. I don't remember puzzle dust as a kid, but now that I'm grown, I am familiar. I also like that they include a full-sized photo to use as reference when you're building. We usually use the box, but the paper is easier to fit on the table or put on a lap.
This would be great to put together with your children who are still at home, or even to put together with your "children" who are grown. It would also be fun to get a small children's puzzle for them to put together next to you, while you are building this one. The Animal ABC 20 Piece Big Puzzle would be great for the younger crowd who might not yet be ready to tackle 1,000 pieces.

Of course this is just two of the many, many varieties and types of puzzles you can purchase at eeBoo and it's definitely a site worth checking out to find a gift for dad. What better gift to give, than one that fosters the gift of spending time together? I'd suggest gifting one of their amazing puzzles with a nice charcuterie board, and a ticket that promises an afternoon of just chilling out with dad.

There's a Giveaway!

One lucky winner will win a randomly selected 1,000-piece puzzle and a 20-piece children's puzzle.

  10. Our family loves jigsaw puzzles. It has to be at least a 1000 pcs. Anything less is not as exciting. We leave it set up on a table and when someone has a minute or so, they sit down and work on it.

  11. Jigsaw puzzles are nice because different ages can work on them together. They're also nice because you can redo them over and over. Working jigsaw puzzles is a nice way to relax and unplug.
