Disclosure: I received complimentary items to create mandarin Love Bugs. :)
Halos are California Mandarins that are sweet, seedless, delicious, nutritious and oh so easy to peel (and that's my favorite part because it takes the fun out of eating fruit if it's too hard to peel!). They're also good for making a cute Valentine's Day project with the kids. 🧡
I think the best crafts are the ones that are fast, easy to make, and don't
make a mess. That is especially true if you are doing it in your child's
classroom.
Here we are working on Love Bugs for Valentine's Day using Halos. Cute, right?
Another thing I learned, quite by accident, is that boys will take these
oranges from girls who have made them, and hold them hostage trying to
flirt. No wonder this little guy above looks so worried. I should have known
this kind of conflict might occur..they are afterall, called Love Bugs. 😂
I'm thinking these are a fun way to craft your way through Valentine's
Day!
There's a Giveaway!
My kids love these! I just bought some yesterday.

ReplyDeleteThese mandarins are so funny. I genuinely laughed when I saw them. And they look so plump and fresh that if I didn't know they were the real thing, I'd consider them toys.

What a cute idea for Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally cute, and something I think we're totally capable of doing, I just wish I found this before Valentine's Day. I'm seriously thinking of repurposing your article with 4-leaf clovers to make some St. Patrick's Day decorations :)
ReplyDeleteThese halos are so sweet they are like candy.
