My daughter and her lil' family have outgrown their cute little place. This is their last month there, so to commemorate their time in that sweet little house, I have purchased this set from TreeSun Crafts (Etsy). Some of you know from a previous Wordless Wednesday post that I did, that these gorgeous Highland Cows are running around at her place, all day long. I think they're so incredibly great. I'm going to miss them (and the peacocks that stroll around there too). I think when she sees these she'll get that good feeling that goes along with remembering where you started your family. Theresa from Theresa's Mixed Nuts made these, and if you've ever interacted with her, you know she has a knack for making things look amazing. It's no surprise to me that she started an Etsy shop, and it will be no surprise to me when it takes off and becomes very successful (which it already has quickly started to become) because I know she is the kind of person who puts in the heart, and the hard work. That's why she has such a loyal following on her blog, and people all over the country (and even outside of it) who are crazy about her even though they've never met her in person (raising my hand over here).
In addition to the things I purchased, Theresa put in some goodies for me to keep as well. It was a complete and utter surprise (or maybe I should have said, 'udder'...cows...anyway, lol), but thinking back I shouldn't have been surprised. Her kind nature is nothing new!! It's one of my favorite things about her. Please note that my photography is not fantastic and the variations you see are from the poor lighting I am struggling with right now in the house (my big kitchen light blew and I'm struggling to try and figure out how to change the huge thing without dropping it). In person these are even more gorgeous than they appear here.
As a blogger we kind of become desensitized to packages on the doorstep. It's not that we don't appreciate them, we do, I do, it's just that after years pass, they become a familiar sight. Also, when you reach my age, not much surprises me, but this did when it came and I was so delighted that I squeeeed out loud!!! Especially when I got to the 'Rosey's Kitchen' plaque. What a wonderful thing to do. I've already said it, but let me say it again here: Thank you, Theresa!!! The surprise of the items I wasn't expecting was as much of a gift as the gifts themselves. I haven't felt that surprised-happy for a long time. It was cool. Disclaimer: She does not send free gifts like this when you place an order. This was a cool gesture from one long-time bloggy friend to another, and I truly appreciated it and am giving her a shout out so you can see some of the items she has for sale too. There are a lot of different things you can have lasered onto wooden mixing spoons for the kitchen. In addition to the Highland Cows, I have 'Bless this nest' and 'life is short, lick the spoon!'
Coasters are always welcome in my house, especially since every surface I have to place glasses on is wood and I don't want rings from condensation to mar them. You can get personalized items from her Tree Sun Crafts Etsy Shop too, such as charcuterie boards, bamboo cutting boards, bookmarks, and more. There are theme items too, such as Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter, Peanuts, etc.
I love everything about everything in this package, but I had to save the cutest for last. Look at the mug that the sloth is holding. That is super fun, right? I love that little detail so much, and of course, I love me some good morning (afternoon, or evening) coffee. :) If you like what you see, or you'd like to help Theresa get a roaring good start to her Etsy shop, head on over to TreeSun Crafts to browse the merch (and please, tell a friend). :)

ReplyDeleteAwe, such a lovely post, Rosey! You've warmed my heart with your kind words. Also, I read your email late at night in bed the other day and forgot to respond the next morning. D'oh! So sorry about that! I really hope your daughter loves her cow kitchen items. Seems many people love the highland cows since that design has been one of my top sellers so far. I just found a peacock design that I want to buy. Wish I would have found it sooner. I would have sent a spoon with that on it too. Thank you so much for your support in my tiny little shop Rosey - and all of the other bloggers who have been gracious enough to stop by and either make a purchase or share my page.
