Wordless Wednesday: Vintage Stereo

I was in the thrift store, hoping to find a good elliptical and came across this little beauty.
We didn't buy it, but we sure did admire it. The turntable was made of metal! I've honestly never seen a stereo quite like it. Cool, right?

    1. I blurted it out right away, "Look at that old stereo!" but if I hadn't, no, he wouldn't have a clue. Way before his time. He's all about everything being digital. :)

    1. I wonder what the sound quality was like? I always remember my mom and grandmother's stereo systems having such great sound. Today you have to do everything through bluetooth and it's easy to get poor sound quality if you get a cheap speaker.

    1. That's awesome that your grandfather had one. My grandma had a horizontal one. The top lifted to find the turntable. I'd never seen a vertical one though, so I was geeked.
