My son plays hard, and in turn he has to drink a lot of water. It's not optional. He cannot play his best if he isn't hydrated properly. He is not the only one. You'll see most every child on the court carrying something to drink. We do see a lot of non-reusable plastic bottles left on the court, but this year, we are doing our part NOT to participate. As a part of the Healthier You & Healthier Planet campaign, we have made the commitment to only carry containers we can reuse. These Genesis bottles from Zak Designs are a great way to help us want to commit. They feel good in the hand, are easy to carry, nice and sturdy and they keep his water ice cold.
Zak Designs has been a favorite of ours for quite awhile anyway (in addition to these sturdy, practical items, they have so many styles/designs that are so, so cute!), so choosing their brand for our hydrating goals was a super easy decision. It has been our experience that Zak! items last a really long time too (making them a wonderful value for the money). Out of these two bottles, I personally like the clear Tritan Plastic bottle best (though I like them both) because you can see how much is left before it's time to refill.
Sip from a straw or chug as much water as you want-this bottle's 2-in-1 lid means that you can choose how you use it in any situation. There are plenty of other features you can always count on as well: the lid has a hygienic cover to keep the spout clean, which opens easily at the push of a button. Your grip will stay secure, with grooves molded into the sides of the 24-ounce bottle, and a built-in carrying handle that prevents the chug cap from being lost. And since it's made of durable plastic, everything is lont-lasting, completely BPA-Free and dishwasher safe. Do not microwave.
Little man has no preference, he just wants his water, but in spite of that, he does know good quality when he feels it, and these bottles are high quality.
We take our Genesis bottles with us most everywhere we go. This kiddo here takes his basketball with us everywhere we go too. In fact, I have to constantly remind him to leave it in the car if we're headed inside somewhere. 😄
This bottle is the Stainless Steel version (you can get it with a handle too!). It is vacuum-sealed so it keeps your drinks cold longer. It is recommended to wash this by hand, but the lid can go in the dishwasher. It has a heavier feel to it than the plastic one, but that's not a bother. It's still easy to grip and carry.
I told little man to smile for a pic. when we got back over to the basketball area. He's a sweetheart and appeases me when I take out the camera. 😊
It was too hard to resist dribbling though, and before I knew it, he was off and running.
I caught him on film one more time though, when he paused to take a drink. You can see he's starting to get sweaty here. That means he was happy to have the water bottles with him. He drained the Tritan Plastic Genesis bottle earlier, so that meant he had to use the stainless steel. One drink and he was sold because it was not just refreshing, it was also ice cold.
Zak! says it's The Dawn of a New Hydration System. After trying it out, I can agree. The Genesis line is great, and I am happy to recommend it to you.
I know a lot of people make health and fitness goals at the beginning of a new year. Staying hydrated is often a natural part of those goals. When you carry one of the Genesis bottles with you, you're well on your way, and taking one step forward to meet your new year expectations. Learn more by visiting the Zak Designs website. These are also available online (including on Amazon) and in stores nationwide.

A wonderful commitment we all need to make.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Most people don't understand how important staying hydrated is!! Definitely one of the most important things to make a habit of. Those bottles are really cool!
ReplyDeleteStaying hydrated sure is needed. He's talented, can dribble and hold on the bottle too lol I'd go for the clear one as well, that way you can see how much you got left.
ReplyDeleteI gave up plastic bottles years ago. I have not heard of this company before but this stainless steel waterbottle sounds good. When I am out I like to drink cold water and this would be perfect for me
ReplyDeleteThose look like awesome water bottles. I drink a ton of water each day living here in Arizona, but I still reuse plastic water bottles or rinse out sprite bottles and use them to hold water. lol I know I know, I shouldn't do that. One of these days I will actually buy a legit water bottle. :)
ReplyDeleteHydration is always important, drinking more water is a great new years resolution :)
ReplyDeleteNnniiiccceeeeee...I will take a further look at the cover! Many of such bottles get trickier from there as so many of them don't tightly close up hence spilling the contents in the bottle!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for showing us this product! Seems like a really good water bottle and most important BPA FREE! Great photos of your son.
ReplyDeleteThe stainless steel variant looks really cool.

It's important to stay properly hydrated.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to find the right water bottle. I'm using one now that was actually a shake maker, but it works well. I like a flip top cap on a hinge. When mine breaks or I lose it, I'll know where to go to get a new one. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt's so important to be hydrated especially during sports. It's a good bottle. I hope to get one.
ReplyDeleteThe kids are all over reusable water bottles these days. If you walk down any hall in my daughter's high school, they are all sporting reusable bottles. These Zak bottles do look nice! They definitely would be great for sports. I know Allison loses her mind when she forgets her water bottle for swim practice.
ReplyDeleteStaying hydrated is so important. I am currently doing a 21-day water fast and I could really make do with this bottle.
ReplyDeleteI drink a gallon a day. I have to drink that much because of my medications. I'm so impressed he can hold the bottle and dribble the basketball!Stay hydrated! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI love Zak bottles! We use them for trips, I use mine at work, and my son uses his at practices and games. I love that we are trying to make the world a better place one reusable bottle at a time.
ReplyDeleteOne cannot emphasize enough on keeping oneself hydrated all the time
ReplyDeleteOh nice! Great way to save the Earth and still have cold, refreshing drinks outside. Happy New Year!

I love Zak products. I am also going to vow to drink more in 2020
ReplyDeleteAn amazing commitment we all people need to make. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat 2-in-1 lid is really nice! I've been trying to drink more water, so one of these bottles would be great to carry with me throughout the day!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely really important to stay hydrated. I love drinking fresh cold water. This water bottle looks and sounds great.
