Collectible Captain Marvel Steel Book DVD Set Available Today at Best Buy!

Today Best Buy has the new Captain Marvel DVD set available in a Collectible SteelBook Edition, and I cannot wait to pick one up for our home collection. Have you seen it yet? My son wanted to watch it when it came out in theaters. Always a fan of the big comic book movies, I decided to say yes, and off we went. To be quite honest, I didn't know much about this character at all, and was slightly skeptical (gasp! I'm so embarrassed to admit that's true) to see it. I am happy to report that we enjoyed this movie every bit as much as we have enjoyed others from this series (that until now were more familiar to us). Consequently we now also better know who the lovely, smart and compassionate Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel) is, now everyone knows who she is, and of course, we love her!!

I don't want to give anything away (no spoilers here), but I will say my son was happy to see the cat got put on the cover.  Besides Captain Marvel herself, that is the 'character' he was most excited to see in the storyline (you know he is a big cat lover these days). Let me note here, while I am talking about the cover, that the steel box movie with this custom box art can only be found at Best Buy. There are not many things I buy that can be classified as collectible, but I do make an exception for movies. If I know we're going to watch and enjoy them, I'm more than happy to get the limited-edition versions. Not only are they good conversation pieces, but to me, there is something special about having the things I like packaged in an extraordinary way. 

I'd like to mention too, that because this is an exclusive edition, in addition to getting a copy for yourself, this could also make a most excellent gift idea. Grab one for Father's Day, birthdays, just-because gifts, or get a copy and tuck it away for when you will need a special gift for someone in the future (what an excellent surprise to have up your sleeve!).
