Mobo Triton: The Perfect Big Gift Idea from Santa

Do you give a big gift from Santa Clause to your kids each year? We used to, for as long as they believed. Now that my youngest son is older, I still give him a big gift, and I still say it's from Santa, he's just on to me now, about who it's really from... 😉 

The one main difference between the 'big' gift and the other gifts was that the one from Santa was never wrapped, it was simply left under or by the tree on Christmas Eve, after the kids had gone to sleep, so that they would see it first when they woke up in the morning.

As we were assembling this Mobo Triton Cruiser, 

I couldn't help but think how perfect it would have been for the 'big surprise gift' on Christmas morning. It has all of the elements of a special gift. a). it's going to be a very welcome surprise b). the kids (or adults) will love it c). it's going to be around and used, for years to come.

Assembly was fairly simple. I'd say it took us about half an hour tops to get it together, and that includes the 5-7 minute break we took to get drinks and chill out for a few in the middle of the process. My son and I put this together, and it really wasn't hard at all. I'd say the most difficult part was keeping the cat out of the way, haha. If we're on the floor, she thinks that's her territory. Eh, who am I kidding, she knows every inch of this house is her territory. 😄

I did make sure to tighten everything my son put together, just in case (he's 11) but honestly, he did a great job and didn't even need me to do that! The bike comes with everything you need for assembly including a screwdriver, wrench and allen key.

When it was time to take it out, my son had a blast! This bike is so much fun! It's close to the ground, easy to maneuver, and it's unique, which in our book, makes it really awesome. I also want to let you know that it's really heavy-duty, so it's not likely to tip over while you're on it or making turns.

The picture above was taken just to show you how easy it is to adjust the Mobo Triton. You simply pull the round pin out (in my son's left hand) and pull the front wheel to line the holes up to where you want the length to be, then you drop the pin back into place. You can see there are quite a few holes in this adjustable steel frame, so this bike is definitely able to grow with your child.

It is a single-speed, free-wheel bike that is chainless (I love that it is chainless), and it has a hand caliper brake (in my son's right hand). The rear-wheel steering was smooth and very easy to handle. The flag in the back ensures others see you coming (and going), which is important when you are down that low.

One thing I do recommend though, is keeping it on the sidewalk, lolol!! The Mobo Triton comes in pink, silver, blue and red.
