Buddy Phones from Onanoff enable sharing and cap the decibels at 85 for child safety!
My granddaughter just got home from a nice little vacation. She has been on an airplane before, but never one taking her overseas. No one was particularly worried how she would do, she's a champ when it comes to traveling, but we did want her to have things to help her be comfortable and occupied.
The headphones on an airplane are not the kind that would last long with little one. She's not rough, but she's not always gentle pulling and putting things on. She needed high quality headphones to get her through. The Buddy Phones met that need, you can twist, turn and pull these and they'll be fine. They have a fun element too because they include stickers for decorating them!!! Every four-year-old loves stickers. :)
These headphones are perfectly sized for children. They have a padded headrest, little padded ear muffs, and brightly colored adjusters on the bottom (they come in a variety of colors). My MOST favorite things about these headphones is that they cap decibels at 85 for the safety of your child's hearing!! That's a big deal. It's so easy for children to harm their little ears, but it's hard to monitor just how loud their content is, when you're not wearing the headphones too (which of course can't happen). Not to mention that with traditional headphones you have to be aware of whether or not your kiddos are changing the volume when you're not paying attention. That is no longer a worry with the Buddy Phones.
They are made of plastic, but it is tough, hard plastic, nothing cheap at all with the Buddy Phones by Onanoff.
They have their own drawstring case too, which is nice.
The splitter allows up to four children with Buddy Phones to connect to the same device.
Our little peanut is back home now, and she had a fabulous time. She had the opportunity to use her headphones and her mom said she loved them!

I love the feature that you can get two headphones hooked up to one device. That's cool. Great for road trips! Just load your tablet up with movies or a TV series and you'll have two behaved kiddos at the back of your car.
Hi, Rosey! I can see where these headphones would be useful in an elementary classroom, especially the ability for up to four children to use them at once. I'm glad that your little peanut had fun overseas!
With kids using headphones regularly it is so important to protect them. I usually don't let my kids listen to loud music or shows so these are headphones we really need.
This looks like a great headset for little ones. These would be perfect for my little niece that will flying for the first time next month. I like that the splitter allows for 4 Buddy Phones to connect to the same device.
These are perfect! I know my youngest most certainly has his sound up super loud, I know he has ear problems that no one can pinpoint why as he passes every test .... perhaps these ear phones will make me feel a little better though that he isn't blasting his ears!
That's wonderful that they are so durable for little ones. My girls were always hard on their headphones and we spent way more than I care to admit on replacements. Glad your peanut had a great trip!
I love the concept of these headphones, they sound like they would be perfect for our next airplane ride. My daughter and son would really appreciate these and I love the carrying case, great way to keep them clean.
This is so cool! I mean it would be great that it allows multiple users to hook up to one device! I was wondering if they had these in adult sizes? If they do, I'd get them for my boys.
This is awesome. I love that it provides the right fit and protection. Having stickers add more to the fun. However, the best feature is that it could allow up to 4 users to hook up to one device!
There are so many awesome features on those headphones. My kids had some cheap ones that, of course, didn't last long. I need to replace them with these Buddy Phones.
My sister messaged me on FB yesterday: "Emerson has headphones on his list of school supplies. He can't wear headphones with his hearing aid. In fact he throws up whenever anything is on his head. Most of these school supplies he can't even use. I just had a melt down in the store!" I started to tear up.
I'm happy he's lived long enough to go to Kindergarten. She's right though. He can't do what others can. Kids with Down Syndrome are way above him. The state won't give him any funding if he's not A) Registered for Kindergarten. B) There all day. He can't talk, or eat. They're having him there until after lunch, then he can go home.
I asked a few of my friends that have hearing aids what they do about headphones. They have wireless hearing aids that can connect to their phone. I don't think Emerson's hearing aid is that fancy at 6.
Wow that's going to be hard for his parents to adjust without him at home too. I think we all worry when our children first start at school. I hope they have a wonderful program for him, and make him feel loved and welcome.
Those look so fun! I bet she did love them. Broxton had to have ear buds this year for school.... I am not a fan of the buds and like head sets better, but to each their own. ( I guess less room for storage in a class is a good reason) I love the stickers!
That is neat how many can connect. She sure looks like a happy camper indeed too.

ReplyDeleteThese would be a lifesaver for me. I honestly hate hearing my kid's tablets games which are so distracting!

DeleteMe to! I feel bad being stresses over Mica going to Middle School, when Emerson has all the problems he does.
DeleteI am going to search for this right now. Everything seem to be designed to get our kids deaf by the time they are 12 so it is nice to see this
ReplyDeleteWe have a pair as well and they are loaded with more features than I could ever imagine
ReplyDeleteThose look so fun!
