My Cuisinart ViewPro Glass Toaster is See-Through and I Love It!

It's the little things right? When we moved into our new place, the one thing I wanted to get was a see-through toaster. I don't know why, I just think they're cool. That being said, I wanted to make sure that the brand of it was a quality one, so that my investment would be a lasting one, and not just a fly-by-night idea that would come and go. I chose the Cuisinart ViewPro Glass 2-Slice Toaster. The brand quality (Cuisinart has been around forever!) and the cool visibility feature of the toaster would have been reasons enough for me to love our new toaster, but...it gets better.

First and foremost, the glass is removable, so that makes it very easy to clean. I like that, a lot. Clear glass looks great when it's clean, but not so much when it's smudged. You know what I'm talking about, I know. I feel that way about stainless steel, and shiny black too (which coincidentally are both on this toaster as well, making it a shoe-in to match most any kitchen you put it in).

The touch screen allows you to select up to six different shades of toasting. The orange lights you see in the picture above, show that I selected #3 for my toast. There are also options on the side that you can adjust with a light touch,, You can choose a single size setting, an option for bagels which require extra toasting, or you can elect to either defrost or reheat your items. If you mess up? No problem. Simply hit the 'cancel' button and try again.

My son used this to make traditional toast for his Saturday morning bacon and eggs (a new duo he has come to enjoy).

I used it to toast a bagel. The extra-wide slots on the top allowed my breakfast to pop right in, and more importantly, to pop right out (if you've ever gotten a bagel stuck in a toaster, you totally know what I mean).

I love every single thing about this toaster. It would be a great addition to most any home. Please note too, if you're in the market for a small appliance for mom (for Mother's Day) or dad (for Father's Day which will be here too, before you even know it), this is a great gift option. I love mine!

  1. I had no idea there was actually a see-through toaster! I was watching a show the other day, and for the life of me I can't remember what it was...it may have been an old episode of Friends, and one of the characters said that it would be fantastic to have a toaster where you could see the bread while it toasted! This toaster looks great!

  19. As awesome as this toaster looks, $60 is pretty steep for something as uni-task as a toaster (that's not even a toaster oven). In using it do you really thing it's worth such a high price?

    1. I had a Calphalon toaster years ago that was priced far higher. I loved that one, and I love this one the same. It's def. worth the price to me. :)

  23. That's too funny, a window so you can watch your toast in the toaster. My husband might like this as he believes you have to watch the food you're cooking. That's why he's the cook because I prepare it, through it in the toaster, pot or whatever & let it cook itself. It works most of the time ... but a few burnt pots over the years.

  24. Well I just love this. I have never seen a see through toaster, but I need to get one so I no longer have burnt toast! I also love that it toasts bagels! Awesome!

  26. On the off chance that you don't have to influence a huge bunch of treats at that point to heat your treats in your littler oven.

  27. Brownies, cake, pie, and numerous different treats should be possible in it.
