Career Day at the School This STEM lab coat from Aeromax was a big hit! |
Lasts week my son had Career Day at his school, and this year he decided to go as a scientist! His awesome new STEM coat from Aeromax and some slicked down hair (because according to my 8-yr-old who is an authority on such things, that is how you must wear your hair in such a coat, ) was all he needed to complete the look. The outfit was easy, effective, and very cool!
Science is my son's favorite class, and learning about all grade-school facets of it makes him very happy. I known STEM is a buzzword these days, and I'm really glad that it is, not just for the boys, but for the girls too!
The coat itself is a really nice quality of material. It's definitely made to last a long time. It also sports a collar, and a full-button front. (2) roomy front pockets are included on the front, so that your budding scientist can have his or her instant necessities at hand. The coat comes in both youth and adult sizes.
Dressing in 'costume' is something my son has loved since he could walk. Now-a-days he's getting too big to run around as Batman, Robin or Captain America (*sigh, the baby years are all gone*) so this was a more 'grown-up' alternative to him for dressing up and it suited him well (literally and figuratively speaking). The coat definitely offered a fun way to spend school Career Day.
Nice long length to protect your clothing during research and experiments |
Beyond toys, quality authentic dress-up has been a hallmark for Aeromax fans. Their Get Real Gear and My 1st Career Gear has won every toy industry award over the last 19 years! Parents will want to make room in the kids’ closets for the newest STEM-themed buttoned lab coats and NASA flight jackets designed for children and adults.
Once kids place their arms into these realistic looking lab coats, jackets and shirts, don’t be surprised if they start a penchant for tinkering! The outfits are enticing to girls as well as boys. With an emphasis on STEM and STEAM and even STREAM studies, the appealing apparel might be just the encouragement to launch a science career. Rocket scientist anyone? Pocket protectors and slide rule are optional!
Do you have a child who likes to dress up or don a costume? This lab coat would be amazing for role play, spawning creativity, and getting those minds to turning on what experiement to work on next. I say keep one on hand, and have a STEM experiment weekly. It would be a great addition as a home schooling prop too.
You can learn more about all of the great Aeromax toys and dress-up items by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook.
He looks like he is ready to go find a cure for something. Keep up the encouragement.

ReplyDeleteI love the coat! I hope Mariah has one of those cool white coats one day. She always wanted to be a vet, but recently said she wants to focus on something in the STEM fields. And, I'll have to tell her that when she does, she must slick her hair back too ;)
