Bangs for days...that's how my second oldest describes my youngest son's hair right now. That's okay though, that's how little man wants it. I think it's cute that he's experimenting with his look. ;)
What I want to talk about though, is what is on his feet, and what's in the bag! Like I noted above, Aqua Gear sells sells everything you need for being in or around the pool. My son loves to be in the water, and though he has his own goggles, what he really wated was a snorkel set so he could 'breathe under water.'
That being said, I poked around the Aqua Gear site until I found this awesome Speedo Kid's Snorkel Mask and Fin Set. The single-window polycarbonate mask is very durable and has an adustable strap. The flippers have an adjustable strap too, and they come in a carrying bag so you not only remember to pack everything up, but you also have a convenient place to do so.
Little man was more than a bit excited to get his Aqua Gear delivery. It's been a little cool so we had to wait for a warm day. The first one that came along sent us righ to the pool. I was geeked that we were finally going to get to try these bad boys out...and then...
he used them in the hot tub, lolol!! We could have done that on a chilly day. ;)
They worked like a charm though. The flippers were comfortable, the mask stayed in place, and my boy was able to finally 'breathe under water.'

The shoes were a separate purchase, but well worth it to get. I've been picking up $1 flip flops for my son that last a day before breaking. I want to breathe underwater too! This is great gear. My kids are getting more and more into swimming. The shoes are fantastic.

My kiddo would love the stuff. He likes to go underwater in circle and his favorite foot wears flip-flops.
ReplyDeleteLove the gear and the bag they can transport it in to and from the pool! This year will be the first year that we don't have a pool on the ready to swim, so we have to be more creative this year!

Love his hair.. Broxton grew his out (and just decided to get it cut.) It is just hair and I like that he wanted to be himself.
My stepson is crazy about swimming!! He will get in the pool even when it is chilly out and he would love some of this gear from Aqua Gear.

ReplyDeleteNothing worse than being out somewhere with a broken flip flop. That's one of those things you only let happen to you once. You know NC winter is my favorite season but I have to admit, looking at your son, I wouldn't mind a little warmth and a pool!
