It's so funny to go back and see old blog posts. What a lot of changes have happened since I first started the blog three years ago. Two of my very first posts, way back before I even took sponsored posts (what?? can that be real? lol), were about Matthew Reinhart's amazing pop-up creations. I'm not kidding, this guy is AMAZING with all capital letters.
You can see my early early early posts here (this one features more than one author, the Reinhart book is the Super Heros book) and here, and if you follow the blog smile along with me at how big my little man has gotten since then! But today, I am going to tell you about a beautiful new book that Matthew Reinhart has created for the girls. Disney Princess: A Magical Pop-Up World, explores the magical worlds of your favorite Disney princesses with one-of-a-kind masterpiece art.
Each page is jam-packed (but not over-packed) with wonderful pop-ups, big and small. Even the small corners have intricate pop-ups on them. It is truly a sensory delight!
The book offers twenty-seven pop-ups that follow key moments from the beloved films the princesses featured have starred in. They make a wonderful interactive reading experience that families will treasure. I fell in love with this book instantly when I saw it. It's just that incredible (and then some).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Matthew Reinhart's work, and yes I did mean to stress the word 'love' that many times. Take a look at this book in person, and you'll know exacatly why I am ranting and raving. Until then, here is a video to help you see the experience.
If you're done with your shopping, you might still want to consider this book!!! And if you're not done shopping for the holidays, by all means, go out and get yourself one immediately! I think you'll be oh so glad that you did.
