What oh what is that I see over at FabKids?? Oh yes, they do now have rain boots, and we absolutely love them! These boots are stylish, functional, sturdy and fun.

The first rainy day we had, we set out to explore (and take pictures). It turned out to be a fun day because the rain would come and go as it pleased. We never knew which it was going to do from minute to minute. On our walk, we conducted a little nature hunt, something we do quite often actually, but it's different in the rain. We came across a snail, a wiry looking caterpillar, and a very long earth worm. Those are things you don't usually come across in the daytime, when it's not raining. Here (in the picture above) is the shirt that came with the FabKids outfit my son was wearing. It is the long-sleeved Dino Graphic Tee.

He still picks his mama flowers, every chance he gets. :)

This is a super soft knit on the shirt that makes it breathable and moveable too. You can see the brush of the light knit only if you're up close.  It looks nice, actually. The sleeves are reinforced at the edges, and the collar is too,  not that I worry with FabKids clothing. I already know it's top-notch quality.

Classic Straight Denim Pants

The Classic Straight Denim Pants are rugged and durable while at the same time being very stylish. I've said it before, I'll most likely say it again because it's very true and something parents want to know...the quality of FabKids pants is beyond reproach. They last and last, and you can wash them over and over again and they still look amazing.

The inside of these denim pants has an adjustable elastic band, so the pants are going to grow with your child (or be small enough around the waist yet long enough in length, if your son is built on the slim side like my little dude).

The lace-up boots come up high on the calf to ensure your feet will stay dry and warm. The traction on the bottom is thick and good for helping to prevent slips on the wet ground. We took advantage of the review mode and 'tested' these boots thoroughly, making sure to jump in every single rain puddle we came across. :)

The funniest part of the review? When I'd stop to take a picture of little man in the rain, and the rain would stop completely. No need for an umbrella, son... at least not right this second. ;)
