Now That's Style: LA Looks Hair Care and Styling Products (& don't forget to vote for your favorite model, coming soon!)

My oldest son just got out of the military not too long ago. When you are enlisted, you don't really have a lot of choice in how you style your hair, basically because you are permitted to have none, lol! I get it...there are other things that definitely take priority. ;) One of the things my son said he wanted to do, however, when he got out of the Army, was let his hair, facial and otherwise, grow out. He's been doing that, changing up his look here and there, and he's having a blast with it too.
Since he has returned to the civilian life, he's grown out his hair, sported a beard, donned a 'stache, had a goatee, and he's gelled, moussed, and styled his hair all on whim. Fun, right?
Here he is hamming it up a bit, being a tease for the post... but the LA Looks hair styling products are all serious. He can go from slick to styled in a matter of seconds with these products, and the look lasts all day and night.
Right now he's sporting nice thick hair, and no facial hair (he surprised everyone by shaving it all off yesterday). To help him create and wear his new looks, he's using the LA Looks line of hair products, and he's super happy with them all. They hold up to his tough work day, his brutal workout sessions (I've seen them, and believe me, this young man gets intense), and all through his downtime with his family. He's happy with the brand, and with the reasonable prices on them too, and he says he'll be using them for a long time to come. I don't blame him a bit.

You don't get a lot of choices in the military when it comes to personal style/looks. That's okay, you have other priorities. |
When you get out though, it's game on and time to play around with your look. Here he is recently with longer hair, slicked back with a little LA Looks Mousse in it for volume and control. |
Hamming it up, being funny for the camera. But his hair products are no laughing matter. LA Looks gets the job done and it holds all day long. |
Just three of the many hair care products offered in the LA Looks product line. |

ReplyDeleteIt;s funny, but Chris was in the military for 20 years, so he had to have his hair super short the entire time & even now that he's been out for almost 2 years, he wants to keep it military short.
ReplyDeleteFirst thank you for what he does for our country!! He has great hair too, I guess when you had to go short for so long why not grow it all out and have fun right it right? My husband uses this line and loves it.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that he's experimenting with different looks now that he has the chance to! lol I'll have to remember these products for my stepson when he gets out of the military.

ReplyDeleteHe's a great model. I'm glad the products work for his hair. We need to try something on Mica. His hair is getting so long, and it just hangs there. He wants it longer. Travis says he has Lego hair.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love the Lego reference. My middle child has the same.
DeleteMy husband uses LA Looks! It is great!
ReplyDeleteI dated a sailor once and he was desperate to grow a beard when he got out. I don't know if he ever did...turned out he was the stereotypical girl in every port kind of sailor lol.
ReplyDeleteThey made from favorite hair gel in high school! I spent four years with a bottle of LA Looks always on my makeup vanity. Good stuff :)

ReplyDeleteLA Looks is a great brand for hair styling products. I still use it sometimes today.
ReplyDeleteThese sounds like great products. I just gave my son a mohawk over the weekend, these sound great to keep it styled!
ReplyDeleteI did not know that LA Looks was still around. It's been around for a while, huh? I swear I have memories of mouse, gel and hair spray being in black bottles with neon or multi-colored squares. It's good to have a model for blog posts that likes having fun with it!
