In our house, we bring out the Elf each season for the kids. It's a tradition that they love (finding the elf is fun!). The elf also brings the kids a gift once a year, just something little... like a stuffed Grinch, or a DVD. This year, at some point, the elf will be bringing the ornament pictured above to our youngest. It's non-breakable and has his name on it (and the year).
