Disclosure: I received sample products to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.
Santa Cruz Organic offers a good number of products for sale, including Lemonade and Mango Lemonade. We tried both, and to my surprise and absolute delight, they were both very refreshing, not too sweet, and not at all heavy! In fact, my husband (the HUGE lemonade lover in our home) called it 'watery' but not in a bad way!! And I have to agree, it was light enough to be called watery, but still very flavorful and the lemonade had a nice little tart to it.
I don't like lemonade that's heavy, or sugary. This one was neither and I found it absolutely pleasant. It was a brand of lemonade that lives up the hype of loving ice cold lemonade on a hot summer day! I can see myself drinking this all season long!
When it comes to drinks, I usually like them straight, little or no sugar, and definitely not mixed (flavors). My husband is the complete opposite and with the exception of breakfast, likes his juices to run a little on the wild side (the more mixing of flavors the better). So... I wasn't sure what my opinion was going to be of the Mango Lemonade mix, but again, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice light, and very flavorful mix of mango and lemonade that I thought was really good.
Santa Cruz Organic lemonades (like all of their products), are certified organic in accordance with the USDA's organic regulation, and bear that official seal. That means they're guaranteed to be 100% organic from scratch to bottling. They've got some great things going on with conservation and sustainability that you might want to read about too.
Check out their website for more information on the company and/or their products. They've got some great recipes posted, including some Creamy Lemon Bars, a Key Lime Pie with a Gingersnap Crust, and a Lemon Asparagus Risotto, all of which just went straight to my Pinterest board.
You can follow Santa Cruz Organics on Facebook and/or Twitter.
This brand is too good not to share. Two lucky winners will get the same two bottles reviewed. US entrants only.

ReplyDeleteI used to buy Santa Cruz juices ALL the time! I love that they're in glass, the flavor is great, and they definitely don't make them too sweet. I'd still be buying them if I hadn't started making them from scratch myself at home. I like that you retain the nutritional value of lemons better by making from scratch :). But they're still my go-to on road trips/vacations!
