That is AWESOME. I remember my dad got a money tree for something when I was a kid, but it was literally a plant with dollar bills just taped on. This one is NICE!
Hi Rosey .. that looks fun .. could you arrange for five to be sent over please ...? Now what would I do with five .. not sure - but there's lots of people in need here too!!! Fun post - cheers Hilary
Wow! I've seen money trees but never one where they actually made it look like leaves. That must have taken a long time but it is really cool. :-) Traci
That is so awesome! I would love to learn how to actually make one! I can't say it would look at as good as that money tree, but it would be fun to try.
From BabsProjects: Like someone mentioned before, I wish I would have a real version of this growing in my backyard. No harm in day dreaming right? Would be great to pluck out some bills every time my kids wanted something.
Oh Lordy, this really dates me but I sure do remember that song. "If you've got the money honey I've got the time We'll go honky tonkin' and we'll have a time We'll have more fun baby on the way down the line".
I was just a child at that time so I know it must have been Lefty Frizzell's version (as his was the original put out sometime in the early 50's) Willie Nelson's version didn't come out until 1976 and by then I was a wife and mother. I can still hear the melody in my head, a real country western "Honky Tonk" tune. :D

ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Rosey :)
My dad's side of the family used to do something similar for weddings; they had an old wire frame that was used and used until it finally fell apart.
ReplyDeleteI wish someone would donate one to me! Seriously, that is so cool! People always amaze me with their talents!
ReplyDeleteYour son is right-- that is a way cool tree. Have you seen the little bamboo money trees that Home Depot is selling? People swear by those things.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of them, but that's fun that they're trendy. :)
DeleteThat IS pretty cool! What a great gift idea for a wedding or graduation...or a housewarming! Fun!
ReplyDeleteI wish that was real and at my house! haha. This is neat!
ReplyDeleteI've seen money trees done for events like showers and graduations, but I've never seen one that pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute stunner. Green thumbs at their very best. Thanks.
ReplyDeletePS: Green thumbs and rather a lot of other clever digits.
DeleteNow if only it grew money!! What a clever idea, I have only seen the shirts made of money.
ReplyDeleteWow! I would welcome a tree like that :)
ReplyDeleteCame out very artistic! I wonder how much money was used for this
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool. What a great gift. Who doesn't want money? And artsy money, at that!
ReplyDeleteI am so loving the look of this. I have no idea how to do anything origami but if I did I would so love to make this.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Someone made a money lei for my daughter's friend's graduation, and this reminds me of it.
ReplyDeleteThat really does look neat! I wonder how much money is in the tree :)
ReplyDeleteHow cool it really looks like money growing very nice.
ReplyDeleteWow! I've seen money trees but never one where they actually made it look like leaves. That must have taken a long time but it is really cool.

I want my own money tree! What a fun idea
ReplyDeleteThat is really neat. I wonder how much money it took to make it?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a boy after my own heart! LOVE MONEY TREES! hehehehe
ReplyDeleteThat tree looks really cool! I have never seen anything like it
ReplyDeleteI do remember that song. And tell your son I think it is pretty cool too!!
ReplyDeleteHa! I knew someone would remember it. ;)
DeleteI really need this tree!! lol Very cool and probably took so much time to create.
ReplyDeleteWow! You have a lot of talent to make something as incredible as this! I think we need more money trees in our lives.
ReplyDeleteYour son's right... that tree really IS cool.
ReplyDelete(I remember a similar song... "Don't Bet Money, Honey." )
What an awesome graduation gift! I need a money tree!!
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool! What a wonderful gift!
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour son IS right. That is awesomely cool, and it will be kinda sad when they take it apart to collect the cash.
ReplyDeleteI think it's really cool too!!!! So much effort and time spent on it!
ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
Man, if you have that what do you do? Keep it, or break it apart and spend it?
ReplyDeleteSo money does grow on trees...you just have to be lucky enough to have one. That is the most unique tree I have ever laid eyes on!
ReplyDeleteThat's really well done and it looks pretty too!
ReplyDeletewww.lululovesfilms.wordpress.com
That is so cool. I would never have the patience (or cash) to make one!
ReplyDelete:))
ReplyDeleteMoney money money
Its so funny
in a rich man's world!
This looks so cool! My daughter would think she could have it because we always tell her Money doesn't Grow on Trees!!!
ReplyDeletewoow, that is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWow that is amazing. I wonder how long something like that takes to make.
ReplyDeleteYour son must have loved seeing that! How cute. Too bad it isn't real money, LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome money tree! Maybe someone will make one for me! Haha, who am I kidding!
ReplyDeleteOh wow what a newt tree. It looks it took a long time to make.
ReplyDeleteWOW that is amazing - it's so pretty as well. I wonder how long it took to put it all together. x
ReplyDeleteThis is really creative. I think it would make a great gift for those kids who are graduating this Spring.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! I would love to learn how to actually make one! I can't say it would look at as good as that money tree, but it would be fun to try.
ReplyDeleteI could really use a money tree, I'd probably just pick it all apart slowly as I spend it.
ReplyDeleteHow do I learn to grow these, lol?? Origami is such a neat art, someone was very talented with this tree!
ReplyDeleteI'd love o make one so fun, but our money is plastic coated and the smallest bill is $5 sp that would be one expensive tree :)
ReplyDeleteMy boy would be smart and say see mom, Money really does grow on trees. I love this idea
ReplyDeleteThis is SO awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually too perfectly put together to actually use any of the money!! And yes, I would love one of those!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and craft thing to do. It's almost regrettable to take off the money from the tree.
ReplyDeleteThose are the trees that we are dreaming to grow in our own yard!
ReplyDeleteFrom BabsProjects: Like someone mentioned before, I wish I would have a real version of this growing in my backyard. No harm in day dreaming right? Would be great to pluck out some bills every time my kids wanted something.
ReplyDeleteI would like to learn to fold paper like that. I fold shapes sort of with fabric, but the paper is just so precise and cool, huh.
ReplyDeleteThat one is very well done! I think I have something new on my wish list. lol
ReplyDeleteIt does look pretty cool.

Ha! Another person who knows the song! :) I'm pretty sure she had a record, and that it was Lefty Frizzell's version. :)
DeleteWow, that's a creative way to fold money!
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool... If you got the money honey, I got the time.
