Someone donated it to Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, MI.
& my son thought it was really cool. ;)

  1. That is AWESOME. I remember my dad got a money tree for something when I was a kid, but it was literally a plant with dollar bills just taped on. This one is NICE!

  18. My dad's side of the family used to do something similar for weddings; they had an old wire frame that was used and used until it finally fell apart.

  20. Your son is right-- that is a way cool tree. Have you seen the little bamboo money trees that Home Depot is selling? People swear by those things.

  70. Oh Lordy, this really dates me but I sure do remember that song.
    "If you've got the money honey I've got the time We'll go honky tonkin' and we'll have a time We'll have more fun baby on the way down the line".

    I was just a child at that time so I know it must have been Lefty Frizzell's version (as his was the original put out sometime in the early 50's) Willie Nelson's version didn't come out until 1976 and by then I was a wife and mother.
    I can still hear the melody in my head, a real country western "Honky Tonk" tune. :D
