Look VERY carefully in the leaf pile (Wordless Wednesday)

My youngest child is in the leaf pile catching a ride from his big brother. Can you see him?

  1. I wish my neighbor's tree would shed all it's leaves. I want a leaf pile. Then I want to grind them all up before it gets cold.

    1. Our neighbors probably wish our trees wouldn't shed, lol. The John Deere is broken (in need of repair) and doing it by hand takes a LOT longer.

    1. It's a kid, lol. He does have his days where he moves as slow as a turtle though...especially when it's time to get ready for school. ;)

  6. He has the right idea. Just hide IN the leaves instead of raking them, then get a free ride to the curb lol.

    1. When we first moved up north (no raking the leaves in south Florida) I saw people taking leaves to the curb and I thought that was awesome that the city did that service.

We don't live in the city anymore, so we burn them. There is a hill though, that leads to where the burn pile goes, and we let him ride down that. :)

    2. We live right outside the city so we have to take care of our own. The neighbors aren't keen on anyone burning leaves here. We went through over 50 large yard bags last year and hauled them all to the dump. It was a lot of work!

  10. What fun! When my oldest was little he used to be afraid of leaves. When they blew around he thought they were chasing him lol.

    Happy WW :)
